Indeed, some suggested the Monday deadline could simply be a ploy to get labor groups to agree to concessions. If history is any guide, broad dissemination of the ''deadline'' will grab the attention of AMR''s labor groups, suggesting expedited negotiations, Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Jim Higgins said in a research note Friday.
