Yes, they were having trouble with organizing a successful coming out of BK. They did some more restructure and neg new agreements with debtors and then the attacks started that then took the price of jet fuel to rise fast and furious. I also think it very well could be the beginning of the end for Spirit if the debtors decide to pull the plug on them.
Hate seeing any airline going out of business, and this is happening now and directly tied to the Biden/Harris admin for not allowing them to merge in the first/second place. Hope all the employees can come out of this ok.

Now they want to push for a bailout? I don't think I could support a bailout for Spirit. Maybe another airline will buy them at a cheaper rate than before with Frontier and JetBlue. Now would be the time, unlike the Biden/Harris admin., this current one would be much more supportive of a merger with another airline.

I disagree with a tax payer bailout. Not sure if Spirit alone can get back to making profits on it's own. Rather see another airline buy them in order to save jobs and then bring them back to profits. Pretty sure Spirit won't be able to do it alone as they have tried twice already.

More airlines jumping in on the bailout train along with Spirit. Now Avelo and Frontier are looking and asking for gov assistance for fuel prices going up and away. Curious to how much further this will go now?

More airlines palling onto the bailout list of airlines wanting help. Totally disagree with this. Let the market handle itself at this point.
