Always remember it was deregulation that killed AA and airline industry. Present day airline jobs require skills and pay McDonald wages.
Those airlines that post slim profits today and go broke tomorrow will continue to compete as long as our bankruptcy court revolving doors get oiled by US law.
Many households have been destroyed by this insane industry and it's competitiveness. Airfares 35 years ago were more than they are at present. This is no brand loyalty as passengers seek cheaper fares and more in-flight service on the Internet.
Those still young or old enough to leave get out while you can and don't look back.
Those who can't leave, may God bless you and your families.
