Good on ya JB!

A small profit is better than a $500 mil LOSS.

Good point. But considering JetBlue's business model of efficiency, you have to admit that the price of fuel is hurting everyone. For Jetblue's profits to fall off on increased sales proves that ticket prices for all carriers have to increase somewhat.

Not that it really matters to anyone but JB, but they have put through 2 $5 fare increases. The first one only affected March, so it really didn't have time to get some traction.

The CEO said 15 million customers times $10 equals enough money to offset the high price of fuel.

I think he is right.....as long as gas doesn't hit higher than $60 a barrel, JB should do just fine.

So Hopeful,

What is going on with VirginUSA, you were so excited about it?

I don't recall being excited about it. But what does this have to do with raising ticket prices?

Sorry Hopeful,

I misspoke, it was trollydolly who couldn't wait for Virgin.

My mistake:(
