And there you have it, as expected, the Judge orders AA and JB to shut down the NEA within 30 days. Now, JB can focus on the Spirit merger as it will more than likely get approved since the NEA was axed. There still could be some other concessions ordered by the DOT, but, it will have a much, much better chance of getting approved.
Hey JB Mechanics, you all might wanna think really strongly now about getting represented prior to merger. Spirit Mechanics were smart enough to do it, as they knew they would be better off represented than NOT represented going into a merger with a voice to be heard by all. Not mandatory to get AMFA representation like Spirit did, but, it would mean a much easier and more smooth transition with the seniority integration if both sides were represented by AMFA, think about it guys and gals. Do the right thing here and be prepared and protect your rights and your voices to be heard and get represented prior to merger. At this point, don't care by who, just get represented, don't go into this merger UN-represented. Good luck to all involved...
