I would imagine that it was a MTC issue with the wonderful
EMB-190......You may as well get used to it with those A/C, but they usually break before they leave the ground. We used to call the 170's the 180's....they left the gate, and did a 180 turn and came back with a problem.

Just like most new aircraft rookie. They all do 180's in the beginning. Good lord.. look how bad the Airbus was in the beginning. The emb-145 was a disaster at first as well but look how many are out there now.
