Not sure what to make of this. On the one hand it is obvious tat they are being used as pawns by N Korea to get concessions from the west yet again. On the other hand, I heard one person say that you do not "accidentally" cross into N Korea any more than you accidentally fall over the Berlin wall. They took a chance and got nailed for it.

I just read that China might be stepping in (bout bloody time) to discipline their child. I have long felt that until China steps in to deal with N Korea nothing would ever happen to them. I guess now we wait and see. I suspect that the two women will be released at some point in the near future.

North Korea is 'nuts' and can not be influenced by anyone.

we don't know that they were captured on the north korean side of the border ... if you want to take north korea's word for, it who am i to question that ... everyone knows north korea is a pargon of virture .... also everyone knows that north korea has never kidnapped people before (refernce japanese citizens abducted )


normally i wouldn't cry out for military action concerning us citizens jailed by a forgien power ..... but i don't think they got any semblence of a fair trial .... besides , north korea want's to play hard ball , so i say let's play hard ball ..

we should launch a patriot missle and blow up one of their ICBM's and then claim it was an "accident" and then DEMAND our people back .
