Let's Have A Vote Anyway Twu

Why is the TWU applauding the fact they appear to have defeated the so-called AMFA drive? How long will the TWU continue to misrepresent the craft and class? AMFA dropped the ball by failing to collect more cards than required. AMFA should've expected and been prepared for TWU shenanigans from the onset. The TWU comes across as the "LAME DUCK" winner in the contest to represent a major bunch of spineless malcontents. If the TWU wishes to show their imaginable strength (which has been absent since the Mike Quill days----at least in the ATD), why not have an election anyways. This would finally settle all the drama, as well as letting the membership know that the TWU is willing to make amends to the M&R craft and class. The TWU should've been encouraging members to sign authorization cards. Rather, they resorted to tactics like inflating the eligibility lists. While the never-ending saga continues, we continue to see work leave us. A legitimate vote, without either sides' interference would be refreshing. I believe the membership would accept the results, minus the initial bickering from sore losers. I keep hearing and reading the rhetoric about moving on now that the vote appears to be a dead issue. I think the best way to settle the indifferences once and for all is to have an election vote anyway. Yes, the TWU would risk its members dues, but would win credibility and respect (even from the opponents who despise the organization) if this were allowed to happen. Will it happen? No. Why? Because this is about dues money...not representation........

Why does the twu appear to act to have defeated the AMFA drive? Well, if you ask cio it is because the NMB ruled their will be no election. He/she does not post proof, he/she simply repeats what teamtwu tells him to say.

The twu will misrepresent our profession as long as they remain the BA for our craft & class. Which will be over very soon. Regardless of what cio says.

The twu FEARS an election. Simple.

Why is the twu chanting that "we" should fight to get back what was given up in concessions? Why didn't the twu have snap-back clauses?

Why do not the twu supporters post their real name when posting lies and half truths?

Why are not twu international officials voted/elected on by the full membership?

The twu's days representing AMTs at AA are coming to a close rapidly. The NMB will rule there is enough interest for an election and a Craft Union will become the BA for our craft & class.

Ken, I believe you may have been miss-informed by McCormick, or Delle on what their description of a "Snap Back" is....!

Have you ever been to a "State Fair", Ken..?

Have you ever encountered a "Music Man, with a Dancing Monkey"...?

You Know how it works don't you? The Music pan crank's his "Music Box" to draw a crowd, and then give's the Monkey a kick in the "butt"...! Then the Monkey goes out with his Tin Cup, and collects money from all he can as he dances to the "Music Man's Melodies"...!

Then before the Monkey's cup run's over, the Music Man gives the Monkey a "SNAP BACK"....! You know, that sensation the Monkey feel's when the Music Man yank's on his Leash...! Then the Music Man dump's all the Monkey's earnings into his pocket, offer's the Monkey a treat, crank's up the 'OL' Music Box and kicks the Monkey in the "butt"...! To send him off for more...! :p

Do McCormick or Delle own a "Music Box"...? Or a bought and paid for Monkey..??? :D

OK HSS so you have given us the TWU version of a "Snap-back".

The Union version of a snap-back is where the company requests financial assistance from the union in the form of concessions and the union agrees but there is a provision where the concessions expire at a predetermined time and conditions and pay "snap-back" to where they were.
