This "topic" may have been touched on, by (our AA board) "financial" contributers, such as FWAAA and others, but anyway here goes;
A close friend was invited to a prestigious Travel Industry conference, held in St. Louis a week or two ago, and the following "tidbits" were brought home(to me).
1. There is a LARGE legal battle just over the horizon between business's like expedia etc, and the Majors !
2. NO M+A's will take place, until the "ink is DRY, on open skies"
3. The majors are (all) hoarding $$ cash to deal with "things", once all the legalities are in place.
