Miami / Manchester cxld for winter schedule

Looks like Miami loses Manchester this winter. Sad news as this was a great flight to work.

Indeed, the yields just were not strong enough, and Thomas Cook entering the MIA-MAN market last year didn't help.

AA 112/113, the second MIA-LHR frequency, might be 2x daily again this winter instead of just SaSu.

For those who care, rumour is that MIA already has filled the gap. Recently turned schedule carrier "Flyglobespan" is in talks with MIA officials right now to begin MIA-MAN (2x weekly) and MIA-GLA (1x weekly) in December. They are a low-fare British airline that recently launched scheduled flights to Orlando and will also soon begin service to Toronto and Cape Town.
