The arena in MIA costs AA $20 million a year to advertise on it. That little cheesy dinner theater in NYC costs $8 million a year. I can only imagine what the arena in DFW costs  .

Its called ADVERTISING!!!! Its not unique! Get over it!
PS The MIA arena cost around 2mil a year. Not 20.

From your previous post - you are angry that we are making post on there - you think it is only for the mechanics.

You go to everyone's post and attack them.

Liveinahotel - has a right to their opinion and to request the poll. If you don't agree with it than post against it in the poll. Is is really necessary to tell them to "get over it". Did AA train you to say "get over it" to everything you do not like?

Well here's a good one.. The AA Center in dallas cost AA $200mil for a 20yr contract. I also beleive PHX opened a new center at a cost of $200mil. Gee AA could have built their own for what they pay in naming rights.
.... Here's the best part Watch any Dallas Stars hockey game and you will see SOUTHWEST AIRLINES logo inbeded in the ice. Seems like SW one upped AA on advertising. While the announcer says "AA CENTR" periodically, SW is advertised almost every minute to anyone watching the game.
.......... Who scored on this one?

Thanks for the post - I did not know this! I guess it is the employees that pay for the few seconds to say AA (by giving up pay and work conditions).

First of all I think its a bit of an exaggeration to say I go to everyones post and "attack" them. And I especially don't think this board is only for mechanics as they tend to annoy me the most with their silly endless TWU/amfa garbage.

This arena sponsership argument is old and has been kicked around and around and is just plain ignorant. Venue sponserships are part of ADVERTISING!!! ADVERTISING is a nessessary part of running a business. AA is not alone in sponsering venues it is done by many corporations so there obviously must be some value to it!

AA scores thats who!! SW pays millions of dollars a year to sponser NHL games and have their name mentioned a few times. But AA now gets their name and Logo broadcast during the game as well. Only they get it FOR FREE! The beauty of venue sponserships!
