More competition on FLL-LAX

Hopefully AA will hold its own, because FLL-LAX is actually a pretty strong F route, especially since the majority of the Miami area's big corporations are located in the FLL area, not MIA area. Sort of like LAX-BNA, which has held very well against WN over the years thanks to high F demand.

Though I will says, jetBlue is averaging loads of something like 155-160 (on a 162-seat plane) on FLL-LGB, and yields have been extraordinary.

This is why JBLU will be adding another daily flight to the LGB-FLL market in September also. David Neeleman feels the aircraft used to support this schedule change will be much better than leaving it on the ATL-LGB route which will go down to one flight/day after Sep 8th.

Wonder how long, before we see Song doing ATL-OAK?

Very, very long. Song is not focusing on ATL. They are focusing on bringing passengers from the Northeast and West Coast to Florida. They do have ATL-JFK flights, but that is there for two main reasons:

1) Getting 757s to ATL for maintence
2) Giving thier ATL passenger base a "taste" of Song
