There are no negotiations with the ibt and HP, they have been suspended for several months now.

You cannot force the company to open any contract under the RLA unless you have hit the time frame spelled out in Section 6.

The IAM and the company will negotiate a transition agreement and the IAM will seek improvements, just like in everyother merger we have been through on this property, how many have you been through?

Well all the 737s are done in CLT, they are no longer outsourced.

The last three 757s were done in PIT.

And the A330 is outsourced.

Who does your heavy mtc on the 757s, 737s and A320 Family?

Go look up the R# the Stock Clerks have been part of our CBA since 1949.

The company has all ready come and said this numerous times.

They are negotiating with AFA, ALPA and completed negotiations with the CWA as your ibt laid down and played dead the HP CSAs and Res Agents never had any input nor did they vote on being placed on the CWA/US CBA with minor transition changes.

The Certication in 1949 includes stock clerks

On the east side we have been through two bankruptcies and still enjoy better scope language then your so called ibt cba you fought hard for.

It took two bankruptcies to bring our cba down to your level.
Scope what a joke, the FACTS are these 700 the COMPANY allowed everything we have now to remain period! The IAM got us nothing because a group of spinless leaders were to afraid to take a stand, so spinless were these leaders they could make no recommendation whatsoever, so no matter how the vote turned out their hands would be clean! Don't come on this board and lie because thats what it is 700 a lie about how the IAM kept our scope in place, remember you were there you guys didn't negotiate! So if you didn't negotiate how did the IAM keep our scope, but the members voted to lose sick pay, vacation,and numerous other benefits not to mention all the work we lost, you can't have it both ways! The IAM can't claim victory for SCOPE and blame the membership for all the the concessions it dosen't work that way. Remember the COMPANY allowed what we have to remain the UNION did nothing! Don't let the facts get in your way!
 
There were negotiations going on for three months, a T/A was never reached.

And yes there were modifications to the final offer several times to keep work in-house.

It all comes down to the membership and how they voted on it.
 
Gee the ibt did the samething at Continental Airlines by organizing the scab amts after Lorenzo went to court and had all unions wiped out at CAL and all unions thrown off property.

You are correct that the IBT cannot take the company to court to open the contract but if the IBT wins a election (not saying there is one ) it can and has said ( and the company lawyers Al H has agreed)it can take the company to arbitration and or court to have the IBT contract be the contract to be inforced. The company said that in most cases the IBT and the company would sit down and do what it could to avoid this.

Just like UAL and NWA where AMFA won and they had to enforce the IAM contract,just like AMFA at WN where they had to enforce the ibt contract and just like the PFAA at NWA had to enforce the ibt contract until the contracts became amendable.

Everett Hemeney did not say that the ibt can force their contract upon US.

According to ibt local 104 negotiations have been suspended and have been for several months.

Your contract is dead in the water and soon you will be under the IAM/US CBA, welcome!

The IAM upon certification will negotiate a transition agreement and make improvements to the current CBA, like what has been done in the several previous mergers that we have been through.

So is Andy too busy loading boxes since you posted wrong information?

The IBT has told the company that it does not agree with the company or the IAM that the IAM contract is the surviving contract. You are wrong

I 'm not saying what will happen just what is happening and what is being said on the company and IBT sides.
