I know that United 93 is coming out nationwide on April 28.
It does look good from the previews that I have seen.

May God Bless the innoncent pax and crew of Flight 93 and Flight 175 as well as AA flts 11 and 77

I knew too many people on that flight. I know I won't be going to see it. I just don't see any possible entertainment value it can bring.

The Movie Studio should offer special free-screenings to United employees in major cities, without the general public invited.

🙁 🙁 Yes and why in God's name did the name it United 93, there was/is way too much pain around all of it for so many.

Hopefully they will donate proceeds to those that were lost that day.

As for me, doubt I will go see it.

As someone who heard Ed Ballanger yell across the OCC: "I can't get ahold of 175!" I was close to the action that morning. I will see the movie, hopefully with others that were in the room with me that day.

Here is a decent review. Notice they use actual airline crew (FO/SW) and a few of the actual controllers from that day from NY TRACON and ZDC.

To those of us who lost friends or loved ones, God bless.

Working at a radio station in TPA we had a screening of flt 93 this movie and its director Paul Greengrass will win awards, many had tears in ther eyes around me.

I can't get through the 15 second commercial without a sob. I still think it's WAY TO SOON for this movie. And I'm not connected to UAL, but I am to D.C. I know I'll go to PA someday and spend an entire day there.

It's hard to shake the notion that these folks knew that they had to save the nation's capital. Strangers gave their life to keep a plane from going down in my city. That's pretty heavy.

Well, if ever civilians deserved the Medal of Honor this is the case. They should at least be formally recognized by our President, Congress and the nation if half of the movie is true.

What should they call it? AirTran 93? 🙄

I am thinking about going to see it, but it will be in the daylight as ticket prices are cheap. I believe that all proceeds for the movie should go either to the families and/or the United 93 Memorial Fund that is being built in Shanksville Pa

Wow, that was not funny at all

It wasn't supposed to be funny. It's a simple fact. NAPAUS wanted to know why the movie is called "United 93". The answer is because it really was United 93, not AirTran 93 or any other identifier. Duh. 🙄
