Here is a good summary of the new China-U.S. Bilateral Air Agreement signed today:

Every Legacy has issued a press release regarding their intent. When can we expect Mr. Parker to step up? US is, as usual, last in line. I do hope he has a strategy in place, especially regarding the acquisition of capable aircraft - NOW!

What! You expect him/them to be the first? Not being last is the Norm with the airline. Parker doesn't even know about it yet, he's at the bar watching AC Milan vs Liverpool.

TEMPE, AZ - (May 23, 2007) US Airways says they'll go to China as soon as their pilots agree to $12.00 an hour. After all, it is a long trip and $12.00 is still more than the average person in China earns. To sweeten the deal, lunch from any street cart vendor will be thrown in to the deal. Rat on a stick tastes like chicken!

We will definitely need a much bigger snack basket for those long flights.

U has no aircraft for this and ALPA has refused to give them a pay rate to fly it. Never mind that they would represent "top of scale" payrates. Never mind that for every Captain there are at least two First Officers making top F/O money. Never mind that it represents growth flying. ALPA has experience screwing up deals like this. Company offered $12/hour more than the A-330 payrate but NOOOOO, let's stick a gun in the companies side a demand more.

We are our own worst enemies.

Wish we could say the same about this lame airline.
This lame airline can exit your world if you just leave. C'mon you can do it. There is life outside of LCC. You would never have to look back.
