No Deal Yet From UA's Unions

Maybe they cut at WHQ but I have seen numbers grow on the line. I think the good ole boys club is padding for the cuts coming.

People should be measured by their contribution to the company. Why pay someone who would rather be home? Management employees should be held with respect to performance, but as anyone knows, the politics of the office come into play. I think that union folks should be as accountable, but this would be counter to the union philosophy. Face it, United hired folks who simply might be better off at doing something else.

Today's edition of USA Today reports a union coalition agreement has been reached and will be sent to UA for review:http://www.usatoday.com/travel/news/2002/2002-09-25-united.htm
