North American Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: WLDA) will add a second weekly non-stop frequency between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Accra, Ghana beginning June 3, 2006. North American is the only U.S. carrier operating scheduled flights to Africa.

Code:
The flight schedule effective June 3 will be:
	 - Depart JFK -- 3:00 p.m., Saturday and Wednesday
	 - Arrive Accra -- 5:30 a.m., Sunday and Thursday
	 - Depart Accra -- 11:30 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday
	 - Arrive JFK -- 6:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday

"Before North American initiated non-stop service to Ghana, the only option for customers was a lengthy connection via a European hub," said Rob Binns, World Air Holdings chief marketing officer. "Our non-stop service has reduced the journey time to this part of West Africa by a minimum of eight hours. Our customers have been extremely supportive of North American Airlines as the only U.S. airline to fly scheduled service to Africa."

In addition, North American will introduce a Business Class service to its existing JFK-Accra flight starting April 14. Customers in the Business Class section of the Boeing 767-300ER will enjoy all-leather seating with 55-inch seat pitch, 135-degree recline and 100 hours of on-demand, in-flight entertainment.

I've never seen a 2-4-2 layout, but conceptually don't think it would be that bad. You would never be more than one seat from the aisle, unlike the 3-3-3 set-up where the pax in the window seat has to cross two seats to get to the aisle.

and coach in NA is 2 x 4 x 2...

O U C H

(although nice to see them using Radixx!)

This is on a 767 which is normally 2-3-2.

3-3-3 on a 767 would be limited to unaccompanied minors. :D

2-3-2 is the standard config for a 767. If they have it
2-4-2 you need a sardine can opener to get the people out of the plane :( .
