If I'm not mistaken, the airports are still slot-controlled so the situation isn't much different than it was before. Didn't part of the deal with DL include NRT slots?

Of course it is finally signed when the Yen has so much gain on the USD. At any rate its definitely a good sign for US if a Japan route is rekindled one day.
