Here a old link supporting the inferior and hiding shotty work...You be the Judge.... If it's so good why won't they release their findings?

And, this relates to us in the United States, how? A 3 year old link to an article about Australian aviation is a big jump to saying that U.S. airlines using foreign repair facilities are experiencing the same repair quality. May very well be, but this article is proof of nothing.

Hmm, so are you saying that the facilities in question would work differently if a plane from the US was in there? Maybe, after all for all we know they could be staffed by Muslim extremists or strung out drug addicts acting on behalf of muslim extremists since those facilities are not subject to US rules on background checks or piss testing.

No that is not what I said, but as usual you misread it because it doesn't wholeheartedly agree with the original post. (Are you unhappy because you didn't post it first?) The article does not even say that there is proof that it happened to Australian aircraft. It says that a union is claiming that is happening simply because the government agency refused to release its audit records of the overseas facilities.

Saying that shoddy work may have been done to Australian planes over 3 years ago, does not prove that the same thing is happening to airplanes from U.S. companies. Well, not to a reasoned brain. If you want to make that accusation come up with something recent.

Maybe I could start a thread that Bob Owens is a repeat drunk driving offender because the Dept. of Motor Vehicles won't release his driving record to me (even though I have no right to such information). That must prove he is guilty.

These are the same facilities that are doing UAL aircraft.....

And, you have current proof that the UAL a/c are not being serviced properly and UAL is allowing it? Again, 3 year old accusations by an Australian union that were never proved to be true does not translate into the same thing happening now.

The FAA has 8 inspectors for over 125 foreign facilities in Asia, maybe we should Give that same ratio to AA management....

Polish 767 overhauls?

http://www.ccaonline.cn/e/2010/38853.html

Wonder if there's any connection?

The State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation and Warsaw prosecutors have said they are holding separate investigations into the cause of the malfunctioning of the plane, which underwent full maintenance in March.

LOT has said that the 14-year-old plane — among the youngest in the airline's 52-plane fleet — suffered "a central hydraulic system failure," that caused all three sections of the landing gear — the nose gear and the two main underwing gears — to fail. Such a complete undercarriage failure was unprecedented for a Boeing 767 and highly unusual overall, according to aviation data and experts.

LOT President Marcin Pirog said technicians were able to release the undercarriage from the cabin on Wednesday, but stressed it was too early to say what the problem on the flight was.

Yep, no doubt the failure was caused by the outsourced maintenance. If the plane was maintained by Polish workers in Warsaw, this failure would never have happened. That conforms to the standard of proof here, right?

The problem is the #### maint airlines are becoming accustomed too..Just like Value jet they were the darling of wall street right up until it slammed one into the everglades....poof just like that grounded...Looser
