According to this post from Raptor they are:

Here at the Tulsa base, Maintenance has been spending alot of money lately buying tools for Mechanics or refrigerators or coffee makers, you name it, plus they have been offering overtime in area's that have not had overtime in many years,

We just got a bunch of overtime in my shop and we have not had overtime in 8 years, makes you kind of wonder why we are all the sudden working overtime in my shop there is no logical explanation, the back orders are the same as always, we are speculating that AA is trying to run up the Maintenance budget for the Negotiations, because our supervisor is also buying us a bunch of tools, Dewalt screw guns and pretty much whatever else we want, they have not done that in the past either in my shop.

Hmmmm could there be a plan here somewhere 😱

I was under the assumption that all furloughed employee's had to be recall back to work before they could offer any overtime?

Nope don't know where you heard that from but there is no such rule.
there are other shops getting overtime lately as well not just mine and of course the hanger get's overtime quite often, they have been for a while.

I have not heard any rumors about recalling anyone, I keep hearing that the base is still overmanned actually, my shop has lost some people recently and they were not replaced.

No such thing under this unions contract, heck OT has been given out since the first person hit the street with the layoff. We even got field trips to stations that just layed off all their mechanics. :down:
