Reuters:

China and Japan have been tracking Typhoon Longwang as it threatens the coast of both countries. Typhoon Longwang is hampering shipping lanes around the island of Hakkaido, as well as disrupting air travel in and around the eastern Pacific rim. Meterologists expect Typhoon Longwang take a turn to the north and to dissipate as it moves over cooler waters over the next twenty four to thrity six hours.

By the time you posted this, the threat to Japan was long gone, as the system had passed over Taiwan already.

So you're saying Japan didn't get a visit from Longwang? There must be quite a few disappointed women (and some men).
