What are the chances of seeing a ''glamour carrier'' that treated you like gold ever again?
Boy that would be sweet.

Economics in North America won''t let it happen.. However, just look at some of the overseas carriers and you will find some that are close to the "GOLD" treatment.. Look at Emerites or Singapore where you get treated as good in cattle class as you would in business on N.A. carriers..

If had the money for something as frivilous as collecting, I would buy up any and everything I could find that said Pan American World Airways onit. Something amazing about that time in aviation. I love the posters and feel associated with the old China Clipper flying boats.

Dockjock, check with a guy who posts as Lame over on pprune and Airdisaster. He has a sh!tload of memorabilia stuff, some of it from PanAm, that he was selling on e-bay.
On another note, the first sim instructor I had at Allegheny Airlines on the 227 was an ex-PanAm guy named Raoul Munoz. He''d started with them back in the 1930''s and had flown the Boeing 314. Knew Fred Noonan and Ed Musick.
