Philippine Airlines (PAL), the flag carrier of the Philippines, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Airbus for an order of six A350-900 aircraft, with purchase options for six additional aircraft.
To be configured with a three class layout, Philippine Airlines intends to fly its A350-900s from Manila to the US west coast and New York route, and to new destinations in Europe.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
