PHX BASED CREW: 42nd Street Parking Lot

FYI, the 42nd Street lot will be closed (again) effective June 30th. All employees will be sent to one of the other two west valley parking lots. According to personnel in the Sky Harbor office, it is a "cost savings" measure for the Phoenix Airport. I questioned about the addition of more buses to the Mojave Lot, further driving distance (wear & tear) for those buses, not to mention the addition of congestion in and around KPHX (and for those green minded, the additional carbon footprint).

The Grass Roots effort appears to be working. There is unofficial news that the 42nd street lot will remain open until the situation has been fully looked over. Thanks for the support & help!!
