Piedmont Airlines, Inc. conducts on going recruiting for candidates who can meet the demands of this exciting position. Piedmont’s aircraft are staffed with one flight attendant, who is responsible for the safety for up to 50 passengers per flight.

We are currently accepting resumes and will be conducting interviews on a regular basis. All individuals interested in this position should submit their resumes immediately.

To be considered for selection, flight attendants candidates must meet all of the criteria below:



Ø Be at least 19 years old

Ø Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of college or more is preferred

Ø Be at least 5’2â€￾ tall

Ø Have the legal right to work in the United States

Ø Be able to lift a 40 pound suitcase and place in overhead storage

Ø Possess the physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time

Ø Possess professionalism in appearance, manner and oral articulation

Ø Possess two years or more of customer service experience

Ø Be willing to relocate to one of our six crew bases listed below. Although you may live near one of these locations, Piedmont Airlines does not guarantee assignments, as they are determined by vacancies that are available within the company at the time you begin your employment. A reasonable expectation to move to the crew base of your choice is normally nine months to a year from date of hire. Crew bases are located in:



Salisbury, Maryland New Bern, North Carolina

Norfolk, Virginia Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlottesville, Virginia Roanoke, Virginia

New hire flight attendants will start out on reserve, which means being on a one hour call out from their crew base for 20 days each month. The length of time on reserve is based on seniority at each particular crew base, and averages about nine months to a year. We need flight attendants who can work all days of the week, holidays, and flexible hours.

New hire flight attendants can expect to earn approximately $19,000.00 their first year of employment with potential and opportunity for increased income. Also included is comprehensive medical and dental insurance as well as company provided life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with a company match, and immediate travel benefits.
