Pilot Retirements

Heard that pilots are now actually taking early retirement in the face of failed pension reform and the risk that actions of DAL and NWA will force AAL to dump theirs too. Any truth?

You'll always have people who panic when it comes to money.

Example: all the people who bailed out on their stock options at $12, thinking that AMR was going to follow DAL and CAL into the courthouse. Had they waited until today, when it closed at $19.32, they'd have walked away with double their money...

Then again, I don't have a huge lump sum to look forward to, so I guess I'm a little more of a risk taker.
