Images and articles have been popping up about the KAUFMANFRANCO designs online for the past few days, figured I'd throw it on here and see what the general opinion is:

Maybe a little bit more color

Male F/A sweater is very nice from the pictures. The rest of the uniform is a business suit. Nothing about it says, welcome to the Carribean or Hawaii. WAAy to formal. They up scaled the uniform and severely downgraded the food service. Way to go Hector!

Isn't it kind of stupid to have a FA wear a white scarf all day. Wouldn't that rub off her or his (I don't judge) makeup? Besides a white scarf is kind of bland.

Everybody should have a red white and blue scarf, and the FAs should have 2 stripes on sleeve to distinguish aircrew status. IMHO.

Gray is not a flattering color if one has a weight problem.  (No, not me.  I'm not fat.  I'm big-boned.    Actually, I'm not fat right now.  I've been going to the gym on a regular basis which makes a difference.  It's just that I've lost enough weight in my life that, by all rights, I should be hanging from a charm bracelet.  Problem is that I've lost the same 20 pounds, 20 times.)

And, as an LUS friend said, "what's the fascination with zippers?"  If we want to be a world-class airline, why would we dress our most visible employees as if they were going out to a dance club for the evening dressed in one's latest A&F acquisition?  We have enough problem with male f/as who refuse to wear the uniform tie onboard.  (They have no problem wearing it in their base airport where their supervisor might see them.)  Or, the older female f/a's who think that a really short uniform skirt is flattering stretched over those extra 30 pounds they've picked up eating airplane and airport food.  The fat pads on the knees are really sexy. Not.)

The skirt and zippered jacket for the female f/as is almost as matronly looking as the fire engine red wrap dress for Delta f/as.  It has a certain middle-aged, middle school librarian look, don't you think?  I'm not judgin'.  I'm just sayin'.

Jets, I agree.  I'd like to see a couple of subdued sleeve stripes to make it look like a uniform.  I predict women will wear whatever scarf they please, and whatever coat or jacket suits their mood at the time.  Last month I flew LAS with a woman who wore a quilted down ski jacket for the entire flight, including working the beverage cart.

I don't see any name tags, and are the wings metal or sewn into the fabric?

I think the wings are metal.  If you look at the picture with the male zip sweater, you can see a shadow on the fabric behind the wings.  However, as near as I can tell, none of the "suited" males, except the pilot, appear to have wings on at all.  They do seem to have name tags, but not wings.  I thought the wings were required by the FAA--that we all had to have something on that distinguished us as a flight attendant.  The name tag is not unique to our job assignments.

Everyone seems to be in the same camp, ie gray this, gray that, blah, blah, blah, and I'm in total agreement. There doesn't seem to be anything that really stands out to make it a really, super looking new, show-stopping brand.

If our marketing department, or whoever's leading the charge in regards to our new look, would take a stroll through D Terminal at DFW and look at the F/A's from Emirates, Etihad, Qatar Airways, KLM (if they're still active at DFW now, and not seasonal), they'd see some SUPER classy looking F/A uniforms!!

Just an observation....I hope you guys come to an agreement that everyone likes :)
