Is someone who took and Early Out in 2006 able to apply and get hired for another position with US Airways?

If so what becomes of the "lifetime term pass"?

Tried to call PHX today and get an answer, but didn't have any luck. Perhaps you guys can help me out.

If you took an "early out", for 2006 that would mean you separated from your position and your passes should stay intact whether you take another job at U or some other airline.

If you get hired in a position with USAirways, you would definitely start from ground "0" as a "new hire off the street employee. Hopefully, you had a good record when your were working in order to have any consideration.

In all the paperwork I've seen from the f/as and other groups early out, it never mentions that you can't reapply for a job at USAirways...any position.

PB-
I may be wrong, but i've heard that your passes can be terminated upon employment w/ any air carrier for those who took the EO.

I was a reservations agent who took the early out. Even though there was nothing in writing saying so, the director of the department stated to me that I could never be employed by Usairways again in the future, even starting with a "0" seniority date. I do know in the CPG there is a section on when you become reemployed with USairways in particular if you return to the company in a similiar capacity you can return with your original seniority if you have been gone less than 12 months. That probably has changed since the merger, but it was made clear to me not to bother reapplying to the company.
