Save Dividend Miles

I would sign it but I am not a DM Member. I am a Mileage Plus and AAdvantage member.

I call BULL**** to this comment by Travis in the article ........

Christ said the airline closely monitors the travel patterns of its top fliers and will continue to do so. He notes that the airline has seen no change since it eliminated the award of a minimum 500 bonus miles earlier this year despite online uproar over the move.

I was Chairman's Preferred for 7 out of the 10 years that I flew US. Once HP took over and made asinine changes with the additional Platinum level just to keep the HP frequent flyers happy and the beginning of the butchering of the DM program, I fell to Platinum and then eventually to Silver because I took a year off from flying with a new job.

Not once in the year I was gone from flying did US even bother to find out why I stopped flying. So for TEMPE to say they closely monitor the travel patterns of its top fliers is CRAP ! Living in PIT for those 10 years I was considered a TOP FLYER. Crystal City knew it. They sent more than a few emails or personal letters to me during the years before the merger.

TEMPE says they montior. I won't ever believe them.

I'm back to flying again. And I have been flying US out of FLL. And soon I'll be flying DL. I can't wait to see which airline is better for my travel needs.

I'll be monitoring that's for certain. But I don't think TEMPE will.

I agree with all of this....

And news flash...the Sand Fleas (a.) aren't always honest and (b.) don't care....

Muhahaha, rumor has it they monitor this forum 🙂

Let them, they either don't care or do not know how to read (English). If this Forum was in Excel Format, then they'd may have an idea, but that would mean Sandcastle splurging on Money for the program.

They should be monitoring the number of Preferreds whose activity on US has dropped to zero (or close to it), instead of wasting their time trying to ensnare their employees who post on this board.

They can start with me, after my flight at the end of September, since I have status-matched to CO, and I will no longer fly US, unless I have to.

I so wish I could get things done on another airline. I'm a PHL prisoner. Every once in a while I fly another airline for convenience and am jealous. Last week I want PHL-SLC and back in one day. The FC on that 757 was full sized, had real amenities, better booze, and a very cool IFE. Even United is better. Never thought I'd say that.

I would sign it but I am not a Dividend Miles member no longer. All of my miles are on CO, NW, UA and AA. I donated all of my US DM to the Fisher House last year. And the one trip I did on US, I didn't even claim my mileage. I know I could have put them on UA, but just let that flight go. Good Luck with it!

If you WERE a DM member in the past you can still sign

If you are a Frequent Flyer with another carrier you can still sign
OK, I see that but I have no clue on the mileage accrued, should I just estimate? Should I add up all my other mileage too?

UPDATE:

It grows by the hour and I'm quite surprised at how fast.

Think we'll hit 1,000,000,000 miles?

590,608,196 Total Miles Represented

Who knows, according to Flyertalk, there was a meeting of Senior Mgmt, and there was concern expressed that airlines did not apply the "if you can't beat them, join them" logic, and instead applied the "beat them" logic by raining status match offers all over the heads of US VFFs.

What do you think the "pucker factor" for Scott Kirby is this week?
