I would like to remind people who are trying to earn their FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificates, or are currently certificated and are continuing their education in aircraft maintenance they can still apply for the two AMTSociety Scholarships. http://www.amtsociety.org/scholarships.jsp The deadline is December 15, 2009. If there are any questions give me a call at (817) 253-2192. Ken MacTiernan AMTSociety Director/Scholarship Chairman

I would like to see one available to those who have used the AMT as a springboard to careers much more rewarding than the current one most suffer now.

The AMT career is a good starting point for many, but they must have a realistic point of view in today's world Ken.
