Seperate LCC CBA vs. 25% less employees

Howdy. Obviously a 20-25% shrinkage of United doesn''t automatically equate to 20-25% less employees.
But...it does seem that this comparison - either or - is becoming the debate before the board and creditors via current UA management and TPG.
One could argue you should support Starfish because you don''t shrink United that much further - however you do strip seniority, pay, and benefits. On the other hand, one could argue that as United starts to grow again (post emergence and in a strong economy) you begin to make-up that 20-25% shrinkage and can recall laid off labor - all under the same CBA''s.
Ah...something to noodle on. The next few weeks will continue to be interesting.

That's the part I don't get. If they want to compete with Southwest then why not give me the same CBA as a Soutwest Mechanic?
