Song Hiring Conditions

Hi,
I am conducting Post Doctoral Research at Emory University, Atlanta, into the lives and working conditions of flight attendants. I am interested to hear from Song FAs regarding their conditions of hire. I've heard a few different stories but would basically like to find out about following:

1 - Is it true that Song FAs 'signed-on' for only 5 years?
2 - What happens after that? Do you go back to Delta? At the same seniority level as you were at Delta?
3 - Are you on the 'new' 'cash balance' pensions? Or have you kept the old one?

THIS IS AN ENTIRELY ACADEMIC STUDY AND HAS NO COMMERCIAL IMPLICATIONS WHATSOEVER. I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING

My wider study is on the home/work balance (and imblance!) performed by FAs. I am keen to get understand the economic changes going on in the industry and it seems to me that Song's hiring conditions could have implications down the road in the future.

This is a bone fide request. All information will be treated with confidence. No names will appear in any subsequent publications. More about my work can be found at http://www.emory.edu/college/MARIAL/facult...ex.html#postdoc
