One of the industries with the biggest job gains? Eateries. And liberals used to call the Reagan years the “burger-flipper economy.”

Doesn't matter; could be 115 million jobs all paying 60k plus and it still wouldn't be enough for some here...

I understand, the only problem is how out of wwork people are under-reported, and it crosses the divide beteen both parties since the 70's, maybe earlier.

I thought I read Tricky Dickie was the first to massage the stats.

So here we have another instance of 'we the people' getting hosed by our Pol's in a deliberate feel good BS event that continues to this day........but its all the other side doing it.....lol

Sadly, one side or the other jumps all over the same stats to look good when they're both friggin liars, all the way to their bank,

See a trend? Choose whatever metric you want. Compare to the disaster of last 2 years of the last administration. What years were with a Republican POTUS? This lies with the Congress more than the POTUS. Of course POTUS is the initiator of the budget process (civics 101).

The baby boomer Gen has greatly influenced the Wal-Mart greeter stats over the last couple of years. Delldude, are you still looking for that gig? If you land it, I will buy you a gopro to film your own version of the people of...

Funny as a drinker of Fed koolaid, you resort to non Fed stats to attempt to make a lame point.

You must have taken time to factor in the upswing in employment to the move to part time workers, eh, Quags?

The BLS stats are the same and where those are from.

The US economy is the shiny silver dollar in the world penny jar today.

Yep, they never count the 'unemployable' and under employed.
Just doesn't fit the narrative.
I knew chit was going downhill when BJ Bill told us we are moving from an 'industrial economy' to a 'service economy'.
These hucksters never change.

Based on Fed buying up its own debt?

The number of able-bodied Americans entering the labor force has surged since last fall. But in a marked change from earlier in the recovery, more of them are finding jobs right away instead of just looking for work.
What’s going on? It’s hard to say for sure, but circumstantial evidence in the latest U.S. jobs report suggests many of these newly employed workers have found part-time work with mediocre pay.
The participation rate hit a two-year high of 63% in March, climbing from a 38-year low of 62.4% in September, the government said Friday. A person is considered part of the labor force if he finds or job or is actively searching for one.
