Twice now in two days I've been infected with a Trojan_Agent.oj virus by visiting US Aviation.

I had to do a system Restore to get control of my computer again.

Not me, update your virus protection.

I have had no problems since the initial attack.

Just set your virus protection to automatic update and you should not have any problems regardless of what browser you use. Also set your browser to update or notify you of an update, because there could be an important update for security.

Firefox is good, but it has had a couple of security issues.

YOU might TRY AVG it is a FREE DOWNLOAD... and I like it better than NORTON's....just go to free.grissoft.com. This day and time if you can get something DECENT for free.. why not try it.. just dont have two anti virus programs running at the same time!

What attack? I must have missed it all. I use Opera (FREE, multi-tabbed browser with built-in pop-up blocker) and Anti-Vir for virus protection.
Since I've switched from IE, my virus/spyware/etc. has virtually vanished.
Switch and be happy!
