The Senate? I said all along it was most likely a 50/50 split. Meanwhile, YOU were all giddy about how y'all were going to pick up seats in NC, SC, and ME. That clearly didn't happen. Just one seat being vacated in the wrong state flips it back the other way.

Fact is Trump lost by about 40,000 votes nationally out of over 160M ballots cast. You seem to think there's some sort of mandate that comes along with that, but really all it does is steel resolve to get even in 2022, and right now, there are a lot of Democrats getting very, very nervous for what could happen in about 575 days.

Go ahead with your false sense of security. Mid term primaries will be almost over in less than a year, and there's really nothing to show for Biden having "won" last November.

What's going to be motivating Democrats to get out to the polls without Trump? Single party rule?

If anything, in a normal year, single party rule has always worked against the party holding it when the midterms happen.

But this ain't normal.

There are tens of thousands of kids in cages, thousands of union jobs have been killing off by executive order, and those $2000 COVID checks that were promised came up $600 short.

No, there really isn't a single accomplishment Dems can point to right now. Everything done to date has been either an executive order, or it's something that Trump already had in motion (e.g. vaccine approvals and production, and handing off the rollout to the individual states).

Trump won the COVID war, not Biden. And people know it. They're looking to Florida and Texas and seeing statistical success while California, Illinois and New York are still locked down.

They're seeing a puppet President* who can't even complete a press conference without cue cards.

They're seeing a false promise of Unity turn into revenge and scorn for the guys who didn't vote D.

The GOP is split between appeasing the Trump faction and the corporate world, whose donations fuel it. Instead of either supporting wildly popular measures like the American Jobs Plan or introducing their own version, they've busied themselves clinging to the Big Lie that the election was somehow stolen. Never mind that there's zero evidence proving that and that Trump went 0-for-everything in court. .

That's raised the hackles of CEO's who correctly recognize that affiliating with voter suppression is bad for business.

This dissonance is an interesting needle for McConnell & co. to try and thread....and that doesn't even take into account performative distractions like Gaetz, Taylor-Greene, or Boebert.

One only needs to flip something like around 5-7 major cities in the battleground states to steal an election. Isn't it interesting that those same cities were right up there in the middle of all the questionable practices, with the thinnest of win margins? Just like a previous article pointed out......my my.

Obama carried Wall Street over GOP then lost support to GOP after the dems went bonkers on power, same thing is happening now with Biden. Odd thing that union members are now supporting GOP more so than their internationals. Corporations and democrats are now the big bux preferred crowd.

Majority of the cases that went to court were never allowed evidentiary hearings due to time constraints.....so much for the 'Trump zero' angle.

Only reason CEO's 'hackles' were raised is from a dem compliant and supportive media misrepresenting and sensationalizing the issue. Look at the efforts by states to correct and legislate unconstitutionally implemented last minute election law changes now.

Only reason all the mindless rantings by the media is these legal changes go against the democrats attempt to take over state election law by legislating the mickey mouse last minute changes that let the election be corrupted in the first place....It's known as HR-1, and anything that goes against it even remotely has the media lemmings jumping off the cliiff. I see it is working here, quite well.

Where were all the national riots that were prepared for and expected all over the country, to make Antifa look like a bunch of kindergarten kids, after the Trump loss? Kinda funny, too, they were expecting Trump to lose ahead of time, yet nobody stole the election....LOL.

Biden 'won' in those states where all the corrupt election law changes were unconstitutionally implemented. You know, the states with the biggest electoral college votes.
