That's quite a loooooooong ride in a RJ.
~2.5 for RST-DFW and BUF-DFW has to be at least 3 hrs?
Hopefully AA will be able to get enought traffic to eventually upgrade to S80, especially the BUF-DFW route.

Huge increase in service to Colombia, I hope AA will one day fly to Barranquilla again. Avianca's flight to Miami from BAQ is full to the gills abusing people as only the western world's Aeroflot knows how, just crying for AA to return.

The day the CAA lets AA fly to BAQ again is the day before AA is flying to BAQ again. AA can't do anything about it.

DFWBUF has always done well with a S80.
I would like to see service to ERI which has seen tremendous growth since 9-11.
26% psgr increase above last DEC
Broke all time boarding record in 2004.
Nation wide 3rd largest increase in departures on a percentage basis.
Actively seeking NYC service.
I think Planning and Capacity ought to have a look.

MIA additions for the summer...

Seasonal...
+1 daily to KIN (Total: 3x daily)
+3 weekly to PUJ (T: 10w)
+4 weekly to TGU (T: 11w)
+1 daily to PAP (T: 4x daily)
+2 weekly to SAL (T: 2x daily)
+1 daily to CUN (T: 5x daily)

Year Round:
+1 daily to MCO (6x daily)
+3 weekly to BDA (T: 5w)

More new routes...

Dallas-Moline, Ill. starts 09Jun05, daily ERJ
St. Louis-Little Rock, Ark. re-starts 01May05, 2x daily ERJs

Also, San Jose-Honolulu and San Jose-Maui (which have been running as one route during slow seaons, SJC-HNL-OGG-SJC) ends 30Jun05.

How many departures will SJC be down to? I used to fly AA on the SJC-LAS route, but now there is only 1 flight a day. Not convenient for me. Just wondering.....Thanks

17 mainline and 25 Eagle.

Quite the departure from 2001, when it was 73 mainline and 0 Eagle.

More new stuff....

Raleigh-Pensacola, SaSu ER3 service, starts 01May05.
Miami-Toronto, third daily, starts 09Jun05.

Would love to see roa-ord service.southwest virginia has no nearby access to the aa route system. Also one of the most underserved airports is hvn.The greater new haven,ct area has much potential.3 to 4 daily erj135 to ord would do very well.I know the runway is marginal, but comair runs 3 dailyflights to cvg and many are sold out.Northwest is also interested in hvn, perhaps starting service this fall.

The S80 is no more spacious than the CRJ700. Just more people in a longer metal tube.

My guess for new service should be Erie, Pa. ERI grew 26% in boardings yr over yr. Has no direct service to ORD or NYC. Potential svc area 400,000 plus. No low fare carrier at ERI. Also 3rd highest increase in percentage of growth in USA. Here's one AE should look at.

PVD-RDU (3x AE) disappears 01May05

PVD-ORD loses a frequency (from 4 to 3) on 09Jun05. This is odd since the peak summer months saw AA add a fifth flight to ORD last year. AA is it's PVD offerings yet again!

Quite remarkable given ERI's 2 hour or less drive to LCC service at BUF, CLE, and CAK.
