Will The Memberships of the Respective Unions Be Allowed to Vote On Concessions?
At the local level?

Aloha,

No vote is needed if AMR just declares bankruptcy. Then the contracts really do not have any meaning. Just ask the UAL mechanics.

The TWU International Constitution is clear that if the Locals conduct themselves inappropriately, then the locals charter may be removed. The Supreme Authority of the Local is it's membership, however the Supreme Authority of the International is International Advisory Council. Will the mebers at the TWU be allowed to exercise their right to vote? Only time will tell.
The membership may not have the ability to understand and may become confused. This could be cause for another vote as with the case of the Mechanics at United.

Any amendments or changes to the APFA agreement require a vote of the membership. Is it the same for the TWU?
