Here is the [A href=http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/021115/152375_1.html]press release[/A]:
United now has tentative agreements with the pilots, flight attendants, meteorologists, and now the dispatchers. Let''s hope the IAM agreements follow real close behind!

We were told yesterday that all incidations from Tilton's weekly conference call were that they are close to an agreement with the IAM and that it could come by the end of the weekend. I think that has a lot to do with their decision to release the management/salaried ERP details first thing Monday morning. We had been told all along that they didn't want to release that until all T/A's were agreed to. So the fact that they're finally giving out the management/salaried contribution details is another indicator to me that a deal with the IAM is imminent.

IAM Still in the Wings
Meanwhile, IAM District 141 is reportedly still in face-to-face negotiations with the company and District 141-M representatives are continuing to meet with their attorneys and financial advisors in an effort to hammer out an agreement with the company that they believe the membership will support.

For all their talk about deadlines and the importance of reaching a timely agreement the company’s negotiators continue to create roadblocks to a fair and equitable agreement. While the union recognizes the need to participate in a recovery plan, our representatives insist that it must be reasonable and equitable.
