This guy 'BRAT is a TEA-BAG looney,...and for us Dems,...This is EXACTLY what we want for the GOP,....to have thier party taken over by Neocons.
Whats left of the GOP, will only get to be in '1600...via a tour pass  for a Looooong time to come.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha !

Slowly, Liberty rises. Crony Capitalism was dealt a stunning defeat.

(From The AP)
“Eric Cantor’s loss tonight is an apocalyptic moment for the GOP establishment,” said ForAmerica Chairman Brent Bozell, a conservative leader who advises several tea party groups. “The grassroots is in revolt and marching.”

WOW.
Hillary will win now by an ADDITIONAL 10%, AND the conservatives can also FORGET taking control of the Senate.
Shiit heads like Mitch Mcconnell are having PANIC Attacks as we speak.

The REPUBLICAN PARTY.

" The GIFT that keeps on GIVING "

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha !

C'MON.....EOLESEN / 'southwindBAG / Citrat,..say something.  Let the rest of us know you're Still ALIVE  !

Though Eric Cantor is not exactly on my Christmas card list, I keep thinking about the old adage that I've heard all my life...Be careful what you wish for, you may get it.

Cantor was a bit of an asshat, and the polling at DailyCaller almost called it right -- Cantor's folks had him up by 34, and DailyCaller had him up by 9 with a 4 point margin of error. He lost because he was running for Speaker, and not representing his district. His position on immigration is a little more fuzzy, and all the action on the border this week probably didn't help...

But, this is a House seat in a district where nobody knew who the Democrat on the November ballot is (Trammell won his place on the ballot by default -- nobody else filed for the seat). It's not going to affect the balance in the House, and it's not going to shift the Senate races in November. What it may do is energize the Tea Party a bit, and that's just going to bring out more Republican leaning voters. Had this happened earlier in the primary season, or in a Senate race, maybe there'd be some cause for tub thumping...

Bears, why are you calling him a loony? Because MSLSD told you to? What exactly about him is extreme?

All I know about him is he's an economics professor (at the same university as his Democratic challenger, no less) and a Catholic. The mainstream tea party PACs didn't support him, and he only spent about $100K compared to Cantor's $5M.

He certainly doesn't sound like a Sharon Angle or Christine O'Donnell....

But, this is a House seat in a district where nobody knew who the Democrat on the November ballot is. It's not going to affect the balance in the House, and it's not going to shift the Senate races in November too much. NO, maybe not a looney.
BBuuuuuuutttttttttttt  This whole tea potty crap is going to DESTROY the GOP.

A 'home DIVIDED, cannot stand'.

And stop changing the subject. Start talking to me about CRUZ/PAUL/MARCO/RYAN/PALIN, even 'southwindBAGS "BOY".....Mr.  9-9-9.
You got NOBODY eric (for '16) and you DAM well Know it !

Who is changing the subject? You made the post about Brat, no?

Keep believing that there's nobody to run for the conservatives, Bears.... If for some reason Hillary doesn't run, your team is equally screwed.

Personally, if the Tea Party influence does divide the GOP, so be it. There are a lot of people questioning some of the leadership, including Cantor, I don't think it will. It's no more dividing than the extremists in the Democrat party (eg the people violently shouting "no" during the vote on including faith in the party's official platform).

Tea bag looney? Where did you gather that info form? Look at his web site or his platform, nothing but a common sense, economics based old school republican or even a bit of a federalist. Looks like he is a serious person with serious (AND IMHO) proper views.

It is amazing and sad how easily most of Americans are influenced by MSM and Pop Culture without any reference to the truth.

If you want the Truth, go to a candidate's website.

Yep and the Demorat Libtards can turn to.......wait.........my bad. All they've got are more Demorat Libtards.

This thread is a perfect example of why I have become a Divine Right Royalist. You put one person in charge. They rule by the Grace of God. If they screw up, you chop off their head and get their cousin from Germany. Worked beautifully in Great Britain for centuries.

It wasn't until Parliament got the upper hand on a young Queen Victoria that all that serious democracy broke out and Great Britain started down the tubes. Human beings evidently are neither mentally nor emotionally capable of self-government.

Think about it. When Victoria came to the throne on June 20th, 1837, Great Britain (which is almost exactly the same square miles as the state of Alabama) ruled a large portion of the known world.

Brat went door to door with a message that the voters were ready for. That's how he won.

I think the progressive shenanigans have made American voters very tired with their leaders.

Tea Party groups that offered Dave Brat zero support sure are thrilled he defeated Eric Cantor
And Dave Brat, the 52-year-old chairman of the Randolph-Macon College Department of Economics and Business in Ashland, Va., staged the huge upset without any help from major Tea Party organizations.http://washingtonexaminer.com/tea-party-groups-that-offered-dave-brat-zero-support-sure-are-thrilled-he-defeated-eric-cantor/article/2549568
