AH, the DEBT CEILING, which I understand is coming just around the 'corner.

Now some 'tough talking' REPUGS are stating unequivocally (southwind, 'unequivocally' means 'without question), that they will let the Government SHUT DOWN, before raising the Debt Ceiling !

(Dear GOD, the Dems should be so LUCKY if those 'D-BAGS' do shut the Govt. down. History tells us how well that worked for NEWT (x 3) in '95) !

Sooo. What say you...fellow 'coolers ?
Will the REPUGS shut the Govt. down, ...or...will they Fold like a ' cheap suit ' to the wishes of The B O SS ?

Just like the ... F C, I'll opine that enough ' LILY LIVER'd ' REPUGS, scared-to-death of getting SH!T-CANNED in 14', will join the Dems for 218 votes to RAISE the D C !

(similiar to dell's 'entire Pa. GOP delegation that CAVED-IN on the F C vote)

Pa. was NOT the only state who's REPUGS caved-in. I needed to say that so as NOT to single out dell, or the great(blue) state of Pennsylvania !

You're NOW in a position to be the FIRST person to express an opinion on the upcoming DEBT CEILING outcome.
SO.
A. ......Do you feel that the REPUGS will show INTESTINAL FORTITUDE and Deny the President the 218 votes needed to raise the D C, which will lead to a Govt. SHUTDOWN,
OR
B. ......Do you feel that the (GOP Controlled) House of Representatives will TEAM up with the Dems to give the President the 218 votes need to RAISE the D C ????????

You DO have an opinion I presume.....'southwind ?

I'll hold my .."OFFICIAL"..Hysteria towards the GOP until after the 'House votes, though at this point, the 'Grand Old Party' of late, resembles a New Jersey beach front home during Super Storm Sandy !

I say raise the debt ceiling to $90 Gazillion dollars !

We can always print more and make the dollar even more worthless !

So, lets see here, example : Joe has $100,000 of debt and a max ceiling of $100,001 ! If we don't raise Joe's $100,100 debt ceiling, no one will loan Joe 'Mo money and he will end up defaulting if he goes over his alloted $100,000.............let's raise Joe's debt ceiling to $200,000 and encourage him to borrow even 'Mo money ! Now everybody's happy, Banks collecting even more interest and Joe can buy more stuff !
 
Do you realize that you posted the explanation of the debt limit, with an example no less and then decided to ignore your own example?

How on earth do you manage to do that in one post? Did you not read anything n the first paragraph or did you just not understand it?
 
I think it's apparent to us all,...............that 'southwind is a....... 'Below the Mason/Dixon line'....." CHALLENGED "...individual.

Now he's 'opining' on the D C,........SO maybe this (might) mean he's getting CLOSE to answering my question....about...will his F'd - UP GOP (who CONTROLS the U S House of Rep.). deny the B O SS the debt ceiling increase,... O R "fold like a cheap suit" before the B O SS..because certain 'WEAK KNEE'd" REPUGS are scared SH!TLESS over getting re-elected in 14' !

I say the GOP controlled 'House...CAVES-IN to the B O SS !
C'MOM (PLEASE) guys. Go on record as to if they...DENY...or CAVE-IN. !!
