On another note, and I should have put 'this' Up almost 4 months ago,...........................The ol' BEAR has Left NH for good, for(currently) Chicago, as I continue my 4 1/2 year career with AMTRAK. 
The 'numbers out of CHI are tremendous, to Michigan (all-over), and to southern Illinois towards STL. 
 
Our guy Joe Boardman (former FRA administrator/GOP appointee) is passenger rails equivalent to (uncle) Bobby Crandall !

I do hope MTA follows thru on the 12% rate hike they say is needed to cover the raises. Dig deep into the pockets of NY'ers. Let them feel the pinch of liberal policy decisions.

But, they probably won't. Instead, the whole state will wind up bearing the cost, and not just the people who use the system.

WTF? Why are union propagandist, like 700 and others, b!tchin' and moanin' about 50 DL line mechanics having to "POSSIBLY" re-locate, in order to keep their jobs?

Amtrak/CHI...is the equivalent of  AA/DFW in terms of activity and OVERTIME.  HELLL, I work with guys making 2K a week, who do nothing more then directing old negro's to the ATLANTA/MISSISSIPPI trains, ensuring that they don't board the train to IDAHO by mistake.
 
The Red-Caps tell me, that those 'ol folks are decent tippers !
 
The WORST tippers ?   The White southern TRASH taking the same train to the SOUTH ( "will RISE again")   !!!!!!!!!!!!
