I may be anal about spelling and proper use of grammar but at least I can tell the difference between a Bird (FOWL) and Unfair (FOUL).
could you really take someone seriously if he says "They'll cry FOWL" without snickering and thinking "what does a bird have to do with the topic on hand?", well unless you were talking about last Thanksgiving's dinner....
