Why blame the union for losing work for the mechanics. The union is always trying to increase jobs, not give them away.
Maybe you might want to look at the work ethics of the mechanics who worked there.
In fact you might want to look at the whole picture.
We are in hard times, and Ual is losing big bucks everyday. This is a time for everyone to pull together, but things are not like that. The employees are upset about changes, and refuse to look at the truth of the problem.
I grant you that management does not help, but survival should be the number one priority.
The union isn''t perfect, but they are between a rock and ect.
Everyone had a hand in this.
