I'm actually speechless if such a thing is possible!!!
Most of you know I work two music festivals for a lady who self describes herself as a "Flaming Limousine Liberal". I've known Mary for 25 years professionally and personally. She LOVES to get about three beers in me and debate. I admire her convictions. Best time was when she looked me dead in the eye and said "Jesus Bob you're such a f*cking Libertarian, but I still love you"
The point is that it's OK to disagree! It's not OK to be disagreeable.
I shared a F/C row with Eric Holder on a ROC-PHL-DCA trip and he was a charming man, even though I didn't like his politics. I told him I was a Libertarian and he picked up on our common ground. Smart guy. We shook hands and parted. Nice guy, LOVE to have a beer with him. Vote for his POTUS? not likely

We had a tarmac delay of over an hour and every 15 minutes or so he would interrupt our conversation to call his young daughter to let her know that Daddy was coming home that night.
Politics aside, Eric Holder is A Man.

Thanks for sharing your tender moment with one of the most corrupt officials in Obama's cabinet. Glad to see you are so easily impressed with the fame rather then the substance,
BTW here's a travel tip: If someone is intereupting you every 15 minutes to take a call, them that's a clear indication you are yammering way to much.

Normally I'd agree except he engaged me in conversation. I wasn't really in the mood to converse until he introduced himself. He was in the Justice Department then I think but it was during the Bush years. Power can and does corrupt so maybe it went to his head.
He seemed like a really nice guy, political as hell though, he tried to hit me up for a donation to the DNC and you know how far that got! 😀
Corrupt? Possibly you are correct. However he hasn't been charged or convicted as yet! If/When he is then it's a different story
You have told that story a dozen times and It seems to expand a little every time it is told. The DNC donation thing is a nice touch though.

Would you rather have me call him Obama's Butt Boy? I met him, we had a nice conversation mostly politics, he's very gracious. If I get stuck again on a tarmac delay, I wouldn't mind talking with him again.
I think he's dead bang wrong on virtually everything as is his boss. Talk to people who were polar opposites to either Clinton or Regan that have met either one or both and you'll find most if not all have nothing but nice things to say about them even though they think their wrong politically.
I have never met anyone that high up in government and their was none of the arrogance that you see dripping off the TV screen from his boss. If he hadn't said hello and introduced himself he would just been a well dressed black man in 2F and we probably wouldn't have said two words
