I have a friend at work who is a staunch republican. He said that the GOP needs to figure out away to keep the Murdoch, Akins, Trumps..... Quiet.

I think if the GOP can figure out a way to come more center stream they will have a viable chance. The country is swinging more socially liberal and people know there is no difference between the two parties as far as spending goes so the social issues are what make the difference. GOT needs to figure that out.

Oh please, oh please...Let the 2016 GOP ticket be Rand Paul for President and Sen. Ryan for Vice-President. It will be a cakewalk for the Democratic nominee. I think that CPAC attendee who stood up and said that slavery wasn't all that bad because the "slaves got free housing and three meals a day" is pretty indicative of the "conservative" branch of the Republican Party. The Democratic Party deserted them by passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965; so, they found shelter in the Republican Party under the guise of "states' rights."

You miss the boat on the old school that fails to recognize new youthful input and ideas and ideals. Old school won't let go of the reins since sucking up to and morphing into the progressive mantra. "We need to reach across the aisle".....tell you what, how about a good reach around while you guys are sticking it to us.
Karl is funding a last gasp effort to defend the old hacks.......new blood is already alive and well.......new blood will survive and the old school will move on and die away.
