I guess you are not too familiar with how the internet works. If you go to the sitegenie web site you will see the following under the legal terms.

Sitegenie cannot monitor, verify warrant or vouch for the accuracy and quality of the information ....

Anyone can host a site. I host my own web page. I pay GoDaddy about $6 a year for an domain name and I host it off a secondary PC. Godaddy has no idea what I put on my site. If there are issues with content, someone would have top report the site to the Feds or local police, they intern would have to get a warrant to serve godaddy, then they would have to get my info from them, serve my ISP with a warrant to get my address then arrest me.

The fact that the site in the article was hosted by SiteGenie is about as relevant to the conversation as the color of your underwear.
 
What the hell is your problem? You made a big deal about the fact that the dite was hosted off of a US server like that actually meant anything. I never indicated I suppoerted the site. I just pointed out that the hosting site does not monitor the content of the sites that it hosts. If you cannot grasp that concept that's your problem.

Whether the choice of MN was intentional or not, the fact still remains that to get a web site up and running is very simple. I have one and anyone else can get one.

Um sparky, You are the one who emphasized that the site was here in the US not me. I was pointing out that the location of the hosting sight was irrelevant to the issue. Do you think thisis the only sight like that out there? Does the fact that this site is hosted by a server here in the US make it any more or less dangerous than a site hosted in Guam or Japan?

It is very much relevant to the issue genius, recruitment is taking place right here on good ole American soil thru the use of terrorist websites that are being hosted and quite probably set up by islamic terrorist sympathizers.

Heck your neighbor may be in on it,.... nahhhhh could'nt be he is such a nice guy! :huh:
 
Good lord, the location of the site has no bearing on who is being recruited. Half the gambling site are located in servers off shore out of US reach and people all over the world use tjhose sites.

Recruitment to Al-Queda and who knows what other fringe groups are taking place here in the US all the time. KKK has a site as well as the skin heads, and who knows who else.

The location of the host has not bearing on anything. Anyone, anywhere in the world can access any site anywhere in the world unless their ISP/government (China) blocks access to certain domains.

I am not discussing the content of the site because sites like that are rampant all over the world. The location of the site is secondary to the issue at hand which is the growing popularity of joining terrorist groups.

Would the site be any less dangerous if it were located in "put your country of choice here"?

You think SiteGenie knew what was on the site much less that the site existed? They probably have several hundred terabits of memory on there servers and host who knows how many thousands of web sites. You think they are going to waste time monitoring all the sites? Do you have any proof that they were aware of the site?

Those pesky skinheads and KKK jerkoffs are'nt going around blowing themselves up in the hopes of killing as many infidels as possible.

You and the rest of the naysayer's may want to take a realistic look at what is transpiring in the name of Islam.

Radical muslims are now converting and recruiting terrorist from the white sector. It never has been about race or skin color as a few on this board would suggest, its an ideaolgy born from a twisted evil religion that is every bit as dangerous as Nazism, even more so and growing at an alarming rate.
