For the 'IAM"s betrayal of their members they will receive the following,
1. Seat on the BOD [appointed by the Intl-for the Intl]
2. 1.2 million for the negotiating expenses![go ahead,I'll
wait until you stop laughing!]
3. 401K company match will now go into the"IAM" pension
fund!!! [you can't be trusted to handle your own
finances]
4. The 'IAM' will get the right to represent the "RJ"
mechanics !! [These "IAM" leechees won't let go even
when you're furloughed . I hope that AMFA has some-
thing to say about this ,and offers a choice.]
WHEN YOU VOTE ON THIS POS KEEP IN MIND THAT WE PAY
THESE "BASTARS" MILLION OF DOLLARS A YEAR TO REPRESENT
OUR INTEREST AND THIS IS WHAT WE GET IN RETURN!!!!

THIS T/A STINKS SO BADLY THE "FRIGHTENED MACHINIST"
WILL NOT GO ON RECORD AS RECOMMENDING IT,EVEN THOUGH
THEY STAND TO GAIN SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FROM IT!
***** OFF IN PIT!

Nice post jetmechline
Maybe that is why tons of mechanics in PIT have been sending in AMFA cards. Unions are a service organization and if we mechanics are not being represented well we should change unions. It looks like the IAM has done well for themselves in this contract. I know of about 4 guys voting yes for this and about 200 voting no. Less than a week to go. When this contract fails it will show them they should have sent something more in line with the other labor groups for us to vote on.

You may wish to review how the IAM performed when offered a BOD seat at UAL and NWA, and how the voting was handled. Voting no will not stop them. At NWA the membership voted no to concessions, the International stepped in and put the Local in recievership, then had another vote that turned out in the manner the International wanted. The IAM leadership looks out for themselves, not for the members.
