Reading the list it is obvious that the person or persons who put it together have no idea what the f they are talking about.

Of course that is the case. However, these are the views of the typical non-frequent traveler, and airlines must somehow try to appease them.

From a financial sense, the people who think this way are not the ones who are bringing in large revenue.
