All Flags in "Town", (that's St. John's/ YYT for you Canadian's) are at half mast today and the people of "town" are in a state of shock, as a Provincial Landmark fell victim to fire over the weekend.

That's right, the orginal Ches's Fish and Chips is gone!

Ches made comment today on NTV (thats Newfoundland TV for you Canadians) that he is overwhelmed with the support he has recieved from Newfoundlanders everywhere in these last fews days. " I have people who have told me that they grew up on Ches's and that they will help me rebuild at any cost"

In other news, AirCanada and Westjet announced today that they are doubling their Fort McMurray - St. John's routes after a overwhelming demand on Monday for this service.
