Twu Local 514 To Pay Members To Attend Meeting.

TWU Local 514 is preparing to pay members $50.00 each to attend focus group meetings.

Not only is the TWU outsourcing leadership skills to listen, they now have to pay members to attend and speak out.

AFL-CIO consultants tell the TWU that reversing the challenge from AMFA is very difficult and requires unorthodox methods.

Well I guess since most officers get paid for attending meetings and "participating" they figure the members should get the same. Can you blame them? Who would want to give their time to such a corrupt organization?

The TWU has to pay members to attend a meeting and you want to argue "where the money" comes from?

That is one strong union you have going there Nightwatch. Good luck getting your pay and benefits back.

Maybe they could pay us to wear a t-shirt with a real scary slogan and succeed in getting the company negotiators worried.

I know one thing, attempting the implementation of Craft Union Philosophies into the TWU Industrial Union structure will be a disaster and a failure. There is NO SUCH thing as a hybrid!

This is actually nothing more than another TWU Jim Little Smoke and Mirrors campaign to make it appear they care what the membership has to say.

Doesn't matter, nothing the TWU can do will place us in a craft union where mechanics are the majority and rid us of the gAyFL-CIO.

Only AMFA offers that change which we seek. AMFA-lite will not suffice.
